So that would explain the aftermarket switch in the center counsole. And the aftermarket antenna. So it is an old time aftermarket. Thanxz you guys!

Thats what I figured I looked for Hitachi everywhere but all I found is"made in Japan" and no brand name. The fact it said made in Japan drove my curiosity.

last one so I could be sure I gave enough info........ Now I will figure out if it works but I am not sure how to test it since I do not really see how to hook it up to some speakers. I guess they did things different back then

I wonder if this stereo I pulled from my parts car is an old after market or if it is a factory radio. The reason I wonder is because it is in good shape. With Plastic coating still on it.

Got 350?
I would buy one. Except they are pricey. I did see one though with a 28grand tag for an entusiast model. (Still pricey for me, but I can agree on that price.) I wish they were a bit faster 0-60 & 0-100 wise. I don't want to spend all that on a big heavy car and be outperformed by the Stang cobras(also in the low 30grand). But that extra performance can be ousted by the difference in the interior IMO. The stang interior makes my stomach turn a little. If I did buy a new car I guess it would be the 350 anyway, just because I want the Z program to survive. I Really wish they would build the Z off a lighter platform. That V6 would be great on a lighter 24-2900lbs. As for the corvette I think the 45-50grand price tag is too much. You know what kinda a early z that would produce. Well I guess that could apply to 28grand as well.

Wet Roads?
My Z was doing this and it turned out I had one bad rear wheel cylinder and only one rear tire was actually braking. After I replaced the rear wheel cylinders it held good like you would expect. I found out by jacking up the rear of the car and I told a friend to press the brakes One tire was braked the other was free rolling.

Check this out
That engine bay doesn't look 7 grand to me. I somehow don't belive all that story. Show perfect? I didn't see that either. Spending 3 grand to get it show perfect I saw that.

well heres my new car
Sweet!! My first was a 280ZX I liked it. I still have a soft spot for them, but I like the first generation cars better. I guess driving a good 280ZX may be better than having to deal with a 30 yr. old car that might have rust problems, Or maybe not.

Japanese Stock Wheel.
You Know those leather skins that tie to the steering wheel usally thickens them up a bit. Doesn't it? Plus if you like the way the stock wheel looks you get to keep it. Personally the skinny stock wheel doesn't even bother me.

Blue diamond baby
I wonder how hard it is to get out of the car after a long drive and how many scars the owner has. Like it though.
