  1. It's a good idea. But I have a question. What do you do about the lack of coverage on the latch end of the door where the washers blocks the paint?

Runs tomorrow. Starts at 10 AM $625 currently

The car is listed as "Run & Drive". That means it starts and will move under it's own power. Don't assume more than that! I don't think I would describe any of that car as clean. ? If it didn't look so rusty, I might be more serious about it. But I really have too many projects already...
  4. I am confidant they're steel. I assume yours hasn't rusted because it doesn't get wet. ?
  5. I don't have any answer but if you grind the flange that will remove the coating. How will you prevent rust or more coating lifting in these ground areas? My first thought would be to grind the flange because it appears to have more disposable material

I suspect something in the rear end isn't tight and the rear suspension is moving slightly depending on push or pull!

    Not surprising at that price
  9. Did you contact them at all?

That might be a bargain at 10 grand. Hard to tell how much rust is on it

I am not sure I agree with the article either. Theyre basing it on quotes. Which may or may not be indicative of whats what. It may be that transactions have slowed due to price increases, not lack of interest and the cars that are hot are still somewhat undervalued. Iknow the 510s are when I browse for cars

  13. That's ALOT of money!
  14. Thank you for all the hard work you did developing these parts! No worries

If I were closer, I would buy it. Probably rusty but many semi cheap Zs left
  16. JFA's (Jims) car is a one owner and I assure you it came that way ?

I believe it was mentioned recently that Zcardepot sold a very similar product to the OEM units
  18. Even on a rusty Z there tend to be good irreplaceable parts. Pick at it until there's nothing but "bones" ...

    Turbo stuff! ?
  20. Not really any place local and most commercial platers don't want to mess with it. If I'm going to have to ship it, then it doesn't really matter how far I ship. I had a good conversation with Luis @ TFC a minute ago
  21. Good to know. So your hardware is prepped and clean when you send it? I went to a shop an hour away from me in Asheville and the two guys I needed to speak too weren't there. I emailed one of them and he didn't respond. So I am operating on the premise that they are not interested in helping me. I would prefer to send money to people who are interested in helping me...Anyone in particular to talk too?

If it ain't broke, don't break it. Premium fuel might remove the deposits over time
  23. Who are you using for plating?
  24. Is this picture right side up? If it is, then the filler neck is a real possibility. They can split and have little leaks. They can be a little expensive and rare. That almost looks like a weld bead inside your circled area. Someone may have worked on this already.
