  1. They are evidently available in the US at the Tire Rack. I don't know if the specific size is available though
  2. No Goodyears in that size or Yokohama's
  3. I have been looking for 14" tires lately. I am planning on trying a 225/60R14. I ran Eagle GT's in that size in high school with out too many dramas. That way I can use the 14" wheels I've got but so far the only tire I've found is a BFGoodrich tire or a Coker that is basically the same tire. Anyone know of another brand available?

Only made for 9 months If I did my math right, it's the second shortest on the list. Right behind the E4601 Would be interesting to know the curves on each of those dizzys

Yes, press one side clear, remove the ca. Then the other side should tilt some more and be clear or the cap can come off. Then it will come out of the yoke.

There are a number of cars that come through Copart as "normal wear". I think people use it for it's national exposure to dealers. Do a search one day for 1920-1970 cars and look at all the nice hot rods that show up

You probably can't fabricate a quality replacement for a lot less than $100 and 4 or 5 hours of time. The $50 difference seems to be a deal, considering

Those are very clean. Could some small manifold leaks do that?

I think Z therapy has them
  13. I would not beat on it! Slide hammer from the outside but better done while on the car or set it up in a hydraulic press and push it out. Press is my preferred choice
  14. I know this is used sometimes in water jackets and in oil lines sometimes but I don't know enough to speak to when to do it and why.
  15. I like to solder connections when ever possible. Especially some where , like there, under the fusible links
  16. Sometimes people will block holes like that to change or restrict water flow. Could have been flush plugged or sometimes they will flush plug them and then drill a hole for lower flow. Just a guess...

I'm no "sparky" but voltage and current are different. You could run 110volts through a module at very low amperage and good things wouldn't happen
  18. Isn't it possible to put the rear case on but not in the neutral position? I believe that locks up the transmission some how. It's a foggy memory...
  19. I would start it from the left side. Lay the back edge on a block of wood and tap it in. Add a little oil to help. Shouldn't need much encouragement

Possibly and if you have high current, it can fry things like ZedHead pointed out. Like ignition modules

Depending on what year your 240 parts car is there could be lots of differences in parts Yes, I believe I stated earlier, it looks to have been painted
  23. Yeah, that seems like a high place to start
  24. Too bad, what did it bid to, if you don't mind?
