Try this... 67088157-240Z-Automatic-Transmission-Manual[1].pdf Can someone move this to the technical knowledge base for me?

"anonymous sources" are just gossip. Like playing "telephone"... I tend to be pretty skeptical of everything I read these days. Take it all with a grain of salt...

I know very little about the 3 speeds but I would definitely looking at the solenoids. Isn't there an FSM for the 3 speed somewhere?

[2020] What Did You Do To/with Your Z Today?
Careful with the back!!! Several people including myself have had difficulties replacing the rear bearings. On reassembly the rear hub quits rotating when the nut gets torqued down. It is a function of getting the bearings set just right. On mine I took a big hammer to get them right. Maybe somebody could find the threads for me and post a link

74 260z Copart
They have always had reserves It is primarily a market place for salvage vehicles, but they have tried to expand that in recent years to vehicles that aren't wrecked. They also sell donated vehicles, like Angel cars. A car like this is probably a private seller but most of the cars are being offered by insurance companies. sometimes the ad says who the seller is, sometimes it doesn't. I just thought the price was astounding

This is really amazing to me. $6,700 significant rust and doesn't run. The ACV is unrealistic too $46k https://www.copart.com/lot/31672690

If the rear bearings give you any issues with binding on reassembly, you might want to think about adding onto the end of one of the existing rear bearing / hub threads. Might also be a good time to skim those to avoid any issues. Hopefully you'll have no issues...

I agree on a level but I also have my wife and two girls in the house. My wife spins that toilet roll like it's wheel of fortune. One time I had my septic guys come pump my tank out. There was an iceberg of toilet paper in there. They made a comment about not using so much TP. I told them I have to pick my battles...

New Oil Cam Spray Tube
I have two teenage daughters right now and they can be challenging! Do the best you can and don't damage the the long term relationship. Time will take care of the rest. About 19 or 20 they get their minds back... My oldest daughter is great to be around now, not so much as a teenager

Ouch. I hope you stocked up on beer and toilet paper!

New Oil Cam Spray Tube
My concern was the steel bar would bind up the cam towers because they wouldn't move at the same rate the rest of the head would or cause leaks

Re-Emergence of HLS30-00903
I understand but it is a six figure car repaired. Way more than the parts are worth. Even if the repair work was costly there is a lot of room for flipping a profit

New Oil Cam Spray Tube
I wonder if differential expansion would be a problem. Aluminum tube makes more sense
