  1. Interestingly enough, the springs are the same length overall but the 280Z spring as a longer wound section than the ZX spring. I am sending the 280Z spring and collars to ea6 as they are all in better shape. I assume the tension on the spring is different too, with a longer wound area. Of course the English language has two definitions for wind and wound "I will wind my watch until it is wound all the way" or "The wind sent a shard into my arm and I now have a serious wound" WTF!!
  2. Thanks for the extra pictures CO. after putting my sunglasses on to cut the glare it looks to me like the washers and center collar pin are the same but the long spring might be a different length. I asked ea6 to measure his and see how for off they were. I still may have another TB or two laying around. I just did not have any ID from the cars they were off of. (Hoard purchase) The socket arms / brackets are most assuredly different.
  3. My spring mount holes are still on the TB, and still look different than ea6's I do still think the long spring and the collar parts look the same though.
  4. Thanks for the confirmation. The springs and collars looked right, just the lever looked a little different.
  5. @Mike seems we have some scammers in the classifieds. @ea6driver I posed a question to your classified ad.
  6. Perhaps not, I had some loose TB's and do not know what there were off of. I thought the spring and collars looked the same. The 78 car I bought came with a 75 engine. It had the N42 non EGR manifold at least.
  7. Just had to dig for an old TB. My spring had this little piece of rubber inside it. The collars and pin need clean up. It needed a little heat to get it apart. The collars are metal on my set up. No plastic parts that I saw. Car parts manual only identifies the spring, and does not show the collars or pin.

I have heard good things about this company when they were in Oregon. Looks like they moved up to Lynnwood WA. https://www.powerbrakebooster.com I almost sounds like your reaction disc has fallen off.
  9. I received this in early 2020. Here is a pic of the markings. There might be a date code in there.
  10. I do remember some thing about the name Pilkington. Next time I get the car cover off I will get a picture of the name on there. I expect there is a date code.
  11. I should have one of those, Clayton. I'll have a look in the hoard and send pic's if I find it.
  12. I bought the MSA one for my deer impact replacement. It was thicker than most of the satellite type glass places I've seen. It is made by a company called XXX glass out of Canada. It was about $500 drop shipped to the bodyshop. No tint band on top.
  13. I have a used OEM relay. I never tested it.
  14. eBay has like 4 condition choices "New" "New other" "Used" "For parts not working" New Other lets you say it has been out of the box or has no packaging. etc. This seller should have used the New Other but chose not to. I agree he should state these are 3D scans and not new OEM parts right up front. He kind of hides that fact in the details. Personally I have not seen any 3D scans of parts that I would use. I would rather have a original part even with some wear on it.
  15. CO your "bold" statement is from eBay as part of their explanation of what a new part is. The ad states "reproduction with production quality" at the bottom of the graphic text. If you look through the feedback you see unhappy as well as happy buyers. Some say the parts broke in their hand and UNOB made them a new one.
  16. PM'ed you some pictures.
  17. Sure, I'll send some pic's this afternoon.
  18. I have a non A/C face plate off a 78. Looks to be the same. Some wear but the mounts all all intact.
  19. PM sent.
  20. I only have one complete set. It is for sale though. $100 + ship
  21. I likely have the cover but no STL of it. Nor would I know where to get it scanned.
  22. That is a good question. I'm curious too. Here are some picture of the holes.

It looks like that lip rides over the step on the spindle. The seal is farther in. I agree with Zed a debris shield. Functionally it keeps dirt off the seal, which could potentially fail and release grease on the brakes.

Just looking through the ones on eBay they look to all have the lip style. Like your second pic. The one looks shorter, perhaps it is like Zed says ground down. Could just be the picture.
