I have the timeing set by ear and its not perfect. The problem is im missing the timeing marker the little one that mounts on the right side.The thing is it has the one on the driver side.i dont understand y 2 and whate it the one for.

My car is farther off than that . The only thing stoping me from going is a paint job.Where did you git yours painted. That is the same front end kit that is on my car. Mine also has fender mirors but im painting it red.

where do you live cold weather.im thinking froze and cracket the block. if it just hapend with no runing.but if it is just the head gasket. just drain the oil and drop the fule pump and git the watter out of there then run it with new oil and a filter for 1 hour and change again that should do it.

I don't know that is a good question. It has a 5 speed in it write know and a shift boot. Every thing looks stock but i don't know. I will do some research. I cant imagine an automatic zcar.

I believe that the white marks don't matter. The sway bar will center its self if you don't git it rite.

OK it is a 72 and it has the 2 wires so i guess it don't plug into something metal.

The mysterious part thread inspired me to ask. I took out my center console. To sand and paint and when i did i found an extra light underneath. With nowhere to put it that i see. If i had to guess i would say it was for the ashtray. But i see nowhere for it to go.

hay there I'm from tittusville pa. The cars in pa are mostly all roting. It took till i moved to south Carolina before i found a z worth restoring.

hello yes i love that paint are you on the west coast.Because if you are I'm painting my car the same color on the east coast.And the last person that painted it took it to bare metal.

OK i am doing the body work on my own car.The thing is i was going to take it down to bare mettle. As i do i find there is some minor bondo work. Know i don't have allot of experience with that. I am changing the color from white to blue. I'm wondering if i just give it a good sanding to take off the clear coating. If the primer and paint will take and if you think it will show threw

Yes i went there but i was wondering if any one had the part number for the needle its self.

I am sorry they are 4 screw. I need to buy a new jet needle. I want to make sure i git the rite one.It is bent causing the car to miss at idle.I don't know where to buy the write needle.Also I'm not sure of the year. My 72 had no carbs wen i got it.The sender was not sure either.

Hello i have a set of carbs that i ordered off ebay .I can not read the numbers on them. Here are the numbers i can make out 1601H. That mite not be write but thats what it looks like.

I have to say i have the same problem. Only it is reversed the back one causes the miss. I swapped the carbs and the problem seems to be gone. But i cant run like that no linkage. Ne ideas.

Hay bud this is just a guess but i think your valves are floating. Are the valve springs new. Or maybe the springs need adjusted.

I looked on my car and i dont have that. It is a 72 240z.
