wow guyz i never expected such a response..... you all are awesome.... i agree with you 100% doing a restoration your self give you a great feeling of accomplishment... i dont mind getting a car with surface rust i can deal with that. what i dont want is having to swap out metal.... i found a car in Jackson, Georgia thats been sitting in a field for the past 5 years.... http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29489 so i got my fingers crossed.... i'm hoping that it only has surface rust and nothing trough the metal....

Anyone from Jackson, Georgia can take a look at a 240z for me plz?!

i found what i need to know about the flares but i cant find anything about the Lip is it factory/after-market and input is greatly appreciated.... also who's Z is this its gorgeous.....

now i'm not like some of you lucky guyz out there that have the tools, space and skills to do a restoration. so i'm wondering what have the others paid for a good restoration. please rate by percentage the amount of: rust body damage thoroughness please dont include replacement parts interior/exterior i'm just trying to get an idea how much i may have to shell out...

thanks for the warm welcome..... i always wanted a weekend driver but could never decide.... for years i couldnt decide between a 66 Lincoln Continental Convertible or a JDM Datsun Bluebird 1600 or 1800 coupe... http://www.datsunbluebird.com/ i always like the s30 fairladys growing up on the island (Trinidad) but i loved the Bluebird i just felt that the Z just were not as sexy . it wasn't until a few months ago when i stumbled across wangan midnight i saw how sexy a Z can really be..... so basically that is the direction i' heading..... i've already been wearing out the search link:p
