well this weekend i got some racking up to store the parts as i take them off the car... and also taken care of a little spider problem... apparently the car had a nest in it, cause i've killed about 15-20 spiders since i got the 240z and they keep coming.. So i really wasn't winning the battle but i will win the war....

yeah my buddy warned me about this also... he stressed it very much. my view as well.... there are soo many possibilities not sure yet... but i'm thinking about about Nissan KH3 (black obsidian) with carbon fiber accents eg.. CF back light pannel, CF hood and possibly CF ZG flares he wouldnt budge.. i offered $1300.00 but he didnt go for it... thanks for all the compliments... guys...

well after months of searching i finally for myself a 240z and not just a regular 240z a 1970 model made in March with Vin# 02062. Best of all it was practically in my back yard only 40 mins drive. I love the condition although it sat outside with the window half open for the last 2 years the only things i need to replace are the floor pans..... the body is extremely straight the doors close and latch completely, hood lines up perfectly. last night i decided to stroke the origional motor and put on some mikuni carbs...

well i picker her up.... she's a beautiful one... 1970 made 3/70 the body is extremely straight, body panels are excellent. will post pics later in a new thread.

well i spoke to a local guy that does alot of body work for the local Z members and i asked him a ball park... he told me he just got finished doing a car that needed 20% of rot replaced and his labor was only $4500 cause the owner paid for the parts else where... i dont mind surface rust but i'm running from ROT...

well i'm mechanically inclined... i've never sent any of may cars off to a shop... done a sr20det turbo swap etc... there is no time frame... the longer the better will be easier on my pocket... by your terms i wanna have something to show off... the body work and some powder coating is probably the only thing i wont be doing... as far as engine i'll either rebuild the stocker or get the guyz at Crawford Z to build me a L28et

is that silicone/insulation/rust on the vertical part of the door

gotswap and carl... i'm with you guys about spending more money up from and getting something in better condition but i cant afford that right now.. i dont really need to have the car running right now and dont mind working on her piece by piece

clown it doesn't run... owner states that the engine is locked up... it really isnt bad for a car 38 years old...

Hey guys and girls.... i finally found a 240z and its only 45mins away... its a 1970 with a low 2000 VIN number the guy is asking $1500. for her... please review the pics and take the poll... i'm going Saturday to take a look...
