what the highest performance carb's for a stock 240?.... i want good reliable carbs....i read alot about weber because of my toyota....do they make carbs for datsun's too?....any links would be appreciated... Thanks in advance -Jake

this toyota dosnt have the tin can bed on it.....this has a pressure treated bed on it and is considerably heavier than the previous scrap....this toyota also has 220,000 miles on it.......so i think second in that is pretty damn good..

if i can get my 86 yota pickup to chirp second i should hope to hell i could get a 240 too

im not much into abuse.....chirps will satisfy me....i am 18....so this kinda stuff matters...

just wondering.....ill be purchasing one soon and this is just something im interested in...i want the car to travel at high speeds....but i would also like to see it have alittle tourqe.

they got the gears but they want a hella lot of money for em...... i think ill stay stock for a bit...

could i just buy the gears?......i wouldnt have to get them from an automatic would i?

4-11's...would be too low for the 4-speed then?...or ok?....cause i really dont want to have to switch transmissions.....i just wanna keep the 4 speed...

do you think 4-11's would be a bad choice for a stock 1972 240z? my lil toyota pickup has em...and i like the tourqe....but my truck is also a 4banger.... would the new gears be too low for the bigger 6?....what gear ratio would even it out so its just about the same?

Every wheel site i go too says they have no wheels for my 1972 240z....is there any domestic car with the same bolt pattern?...like a ford tempo or somthing?.....or does anyone know of a site of just z car wheels? thanks in advance. -Jake

no the original shifter boot for that year was more like a leather bag. it was cut on one side and had a shoe lace type thing that you tie down to keep the boot good and tight...

would a 1972 240z have posi track?.....im new to the datsun's.....so i dont know much....the car is a 4spd....and in really great condition....im gonna buy it in a month or so and was wondering about the posi traction thanks for any help
