I followed him a couple of times. He was doing some nice lines on the track and very quick. I did end up passing him though, as I was quicker in the corners. Very pretty car.

Great fun doesn't begin to describe it! It was a total blast! Road America is one of the best tracks in the country. They used to hold CART races there for years. It is very technical, with various types of turns and elevation changes, plus it's 4 miles long. Several of the other drivers commented on how well the old Z's handled. They had far more HP on the straights, but we were right there with them (or ahead of them) in the turns. Marty

Lot's of them stopped by to talk and comment on the car. Of course a got a couple: " I had one of those, should never have sold it". !! The Porsche Careara (SP?) guy brought 2 mechanics with him to tend his car. The mechanics said my car sounded really tight. It was really fun passing Ferrari's and the Porche too! I know these guys have more money than driving talent, but it was fun just the same. I definitely had the cheapest car there, but it was far from the slowest on the track. Marty

It was a custom design by the coach builder Drago. That is about all the info I have on it. It is supposedly a famous car though, at least in Ferrari circles. He took it out on the track too! Of course he wasn't really tearing it up out there. Marty
