Why are all of our Z running rich? Kharma is, too. Considering that my spedometer doesn't work, my numbers might be a little off. But she's getting roughtly 15 in town and 18-20ish in the highway. She's not my daily driver but I can't keep my hands off her long enough not to take her to work every once in a while. Nevertheless, gas milage is pretty bad. I'm used to driving my neon to work and I have noticed a HUGE difference. And the neon's even got a bad o2 sensor. I don't blame a car that's eleven years older myself, though.

No, that one wasn't me. (I can assure you I can do it, If you really want that video, I'll give it to you ) As to who was driving my most precious baby girl... 'twas my brother. He's 15 but he's absolutely the most talented driver I' have seen. Therefore, he's the only one who I trust with her. When I first got her, I let him take his best friend around the neighborhood in her. Plus, he loves her as much as I do, so I know he'll take car of her.

Well, someone told me 170 on the L28. But that's wasn't a very reliable source. Like I said in a different thread, it's faster than my DeLorean and the DeLorean has 175hp. But it also weighs a million pounds. So I'm not too sure how to compare the two.

Congratulations. She looks like she's in pretty decent shape. Which I guess you don't find too much anymore.

I've learned more in the last week than I did in some 13 years of school. I am really interested to learn all I can about them. Well, my 280 does have fuel injection. But comparing her to the DeLorean (who has about 175hp) she's faster by far. So I'm not sure. One day I will get her up on a Dyno and find out.

Well, for now I'm using the injector I can get through work (they have a lifetime warranty) and they are only fourty bucks. I'm sure eventually I'll put some nice performance injector in there. But for now, she runs. And that makes this girl happy. Thanks for the tip, Rockr69. I might just have to do that soon.

I figured that out. I'm not offended in the slightest or anything like that. I was just curious. Someone told me the 240 have a little bit more power, too.

OH, thank you so much!!! That damn bumper has been driving me crazy. I haven't actually tried to fix it because I figured it was alot more difficult than that. You know, because of the shocks it has. I took the bumper off my '01 Neon and it was far too complicated. I swore I'd never mess with that car again. .

Really? I thought the L28 was alwasy the same. I learned something. What is different in the engine the 240 has? ***I love this car, I am learning so much everyday!!!***

I was going for contrast: something beautiful in the midst of things ugly. That particular photograph speaks metaphorically about how the Z came into my life. I needed something beautiful in the middle of the mess I sometimes find myself in.

What do you recommend I do about that bumper? Can I straighten out the mounts or replace them? For the time being until I can afford to get some smaller bumpers on that thing. Oh, and I love my Z unconditionally. She can break my heart all she wants and I'll never love her any less.

I LOVE not having power steering! It's a "sports car", it's not suppose to have power steering. My '95 Hyundais have it, my '01 Neon has it. The DeLorean does not and it's not a big deal. Now, my '95 Neon doesn't have it either, but that tiny little car won't turn if your life depended on it. So I don't drive that one. I let my daddy drive it to work.

I've read a lot of post where people prefer the 240's. Is there something I don't know. Is the valve on the 280's different? I would say I hope I didn't buy the wrong one, but I really don't care either way. I'll never sell the car so I'm not worried about what I'd get out of it. What I am worried about is if there are any "problems" with them.

LMFAO! Well, that's one way to find out. I finally tested my Z to see what she could do tonight. She's kick the DeLorean's @$$ any day. Not that I'd ever race the D. She'd probably explode (going on engine number three in that car).
