  6. Sounds interesting about the one seat pad issue, to me it is also a question about shipping, the cost of one pad against a full set. Can you post a price for just one seat pad Les, or PM me. Chris

Yes, unless it is send as a gift, or inside EU, we have to pay 10% import tax and 25% sales tax, also of the shipping value, it sucks. Chris
  8. Looks very nice Randy, i wish it was possible to only buy one seat pad and not a set. Chris

Hi all Yesterday i was looking at the two dizzy's i have, i discovered that the one that is in the engine bay of the car have quite a bit of sideway play, witch indicate worn bushings, i also wrote down both the parts number on the dizzy's, they were not the same. Later i remembered that Arne had one up for sale, that i actually strongly adviced another member to get, i send Arne a PM asking if it still was up for sale, NOT:hurt:. Next thing was to start looking after a E12-80 and also look up the parts numbers i had wrote down, i was a bit supriced when i found out that the worn out one is a "euro" dizzy and at the same time that one have a Pertronix ignitor module build in:classic:. Now i like to restore the D606-52 "euro" model if possible. Here pops the question: Is it possible to get new bushings / bearings for my dizzy and where. Chris

  16. I agree with rdefabri, new rings and valve steam seals will most likely do the job, it can be done while the motor is in the car, still it is easier to do it with the motor on a engine stand. Chris

I'm with Dave and Zak here, buying a car in parts is way to expensive, get a car as complete as possible, it will be cheapest in the end and it shouldn't be a problem finding one without to much rot where you come from. Have patience while looking. Chris
  20. Mike it's not really a secret, just me being to lazy to explain in another native. Well it wasn't a success, not this time. The short of the long, is that I have a daughter at age 12, she is on a 3 month "world trip" with her mom, steb dad, steb sister and sister:ermm:, and now i got this crazy idea, that it could be fun and cool if I could get some local Z (or roadster) guy (s) to look her up at her currently destination, maybe bring the girls a ice cream and tell her hi from her ol dad, take her for a spin or what ever, I really don't have a specific plan, just like to have someone, representing her dad, because I know it will mean so much for her and bring some lights on her journey. They have left Sidney for now and are on ther way to NZ Thats all about it. Chris
  21. They would look sweet on my roadster, to bad i don't have founds to spend on that car right now. Good luck with the sale. Chris

Carl we have to pay 180% in registration tax, of the total cost of the car when it enters our country, yes that is outrages. I bought my car for $1300, then the total shipping for a 40ft container include various fees was $6000, seperated on 3 cars and then registration tax on top of that, so it will end up in $5500 + expences to have it on the road. Another way the calculate registration tax is to take 60% of the sales value of a similar car, luckely the cars are above 35y as Lars stated above. Lars, i got the same quote on mine, DKK 13.755.00 well almost, i do also have a newer car Chris
