About to start restoration on early 240. Need, Little boxes that fit behind seats, Door panels Arm rest and the chrome covers Radio surround Would prefer original parts as want to restore so as not to look like a restoration. The hardest way to do it.

Any recomendations regarding seat covers and ease of fitting? In Australia one would go to an upholstererand have covers made and fitted at about $250 Aus a pair. The USA covers cost about $200 US a pair + shipping and are closer to original? Any ideas Nick

I've found fish oil an excellent product to use. It's cheap,easy to spray and offers good protection. You can drill small holes in areas that are out of sight and pump in the oil, fit a rubber gromet into the hole to keep out water. great treatment for rocker covers, doors and any voids. Smells a bit!! Nick

Hire a compressor for a month Buy all the materials Practice for a bit Do it all again Go to Fiji for 2 weeks And you'll still have $3000 to spend on the rest of the car. If its not metallic its not that hard. Give it a go Nick

The blots that hold the front wings were they originally painted???? Nick

The area behind the seats has a couple of tabs with captive nuts and the vertical panel has a small projection with a plastic knob.I guess these are to hold the jack and wheel brace? But I dont have any brackets or any idea what goes where. Any one got some pictues or can let me know. Thanks Nick
