So you see it as more rubber to the rear, I was thinking of less rubber to the front... My Z never had top fresh bushes, springs and dampers, so that enormous tendency to have this big nose going straight ahead came frome my "loose" setup I think. Your is certainly better, so I take your advice and put it in the dont column! Thanks, Fred hell, do it

A fellow member of my club asked me strange question : What if I put 15x7 wheel in front and 15x8 wheel in the back of a 260z ? What kind of improvement/desagrements would such a setup make? I think that would like to put more rubber in front myself, certainly not less... but lots of racing cars from the 70' had those kind of setup, porsches, lancias... Any ideas... Fred

After years of probation, he finaly agreed to let another honest Z car maniac like me have a dance with his baby. I have no reals infos yet, but I ask myself the same question. So keep this tread runing with all the infos you have. What I know is that those company sell kits : MSA, $ ??? Arizona Z car 169$ Restozone 178,50$ Classic Datsun, 195$ (375$ with new foam) Banzaï Motorworks 200$ (200$ for the foam only) Victoria British, +- 230 $ I do not have any feed back on those, I know a few guys on this forum went with the MSA one and where very happy.

Woah, that's a lot of pressure on my litle shoulders. But I am a men of challenge... I think I will print your post and make a check list. I can tell you that the car has not the g-nose anymore... but still the IMSA bodykit. Wait and see... Just to tease you a litle, here a pict of the car when it attended the "Tour de France Auto"... Hello, I'm Fred from the stinky cheese French country. My Z is a 1973 green, green, very green z240. ... I have been maried since 12 years, and have 4 girls (ouch!!!) one 10 years old and three 6 years old, yes triplets. I am far from being the boss in my house, otherwise I would have 3 mikunis and 2 daughters, what women wants... In my spare times, I have founded a french Z club with a bunch of fanatics, 16 members now, still growing. By the way, frenchs can't help it, I took my beast head off... ... but I plan on putting it back.

I will see what is suposed to be THE LE MANS car on saturday 25 may. The owner will bring it to a race track near Poitiers. They have a Le Mans Revival show. I will ask as many questions that I can, take all the shot I can and try like mad to have a run in it... I will check the numbers if I can, so we will know what really is this car!
