Thank you all for the kind comments. I try hard to get the car looking good with plenty of attention to detail. Will keep you all posted on the progress of the project.

Hi Zorro, the colour is from an Audi RS4 (the V6 Bi-turbo 4WD Audi) It is called Imola Yellow and the paint that I have used is called Glasurit, one of the best paints that money can buy.

Z Monster, I don't know the exact weight differences between an RB26DETT and an L series. Length wise they should be fairly close to being the same as the are both 6 cylinders. 3/5??? Is that because it is not in a finished state!!!

1973 Datsun 240K Skyline Coupe (C110)
Nice find Alfadog. Your 240K must be one of the few coupes that aren't dead from rust problems (much worse than zeds!!!) or haven't been crushed.

432R replica project car
I think my dinner is going cold because I can't stop looking at these amazing pictures of yours Alan. (I made that bit up about the dinner, but the pictures are amazing!) Are you going to have the ignition key near the gear lever? If so, is that going to be a bolt on part or did it have to be welded to the body? (the metal casing for the ignition barrel)
