Hi All, just thought that there may be a few of you guys that would be interested in this. RB26DETT 240Z complete with the ATTESSA 4WD system from a GTR Skyline. Hi All, a guy that I know has asked me to see if I knew what is wrong with his engine. It is an RB26DETT S14 As I am no mechanic I don't know what it may be. It sounds like the main bearings??? Here is the link, let me know what you think it is. http://24.163.137.145/engine.wmv Thanks, Cuong

NO. the R34 GTR had the 6 speed. The R32 GTR and R33 GTR BOTH have 5 speed gearboxes from factory. Yes, to use the RB26DETT in a Z, you need to use a RWD gearbox such as the ones behind the RB20DET or RB25DET. Noting that the RB25DET gearbox is bigger and has clearance issues with the "ears" in the transmission tunnel of a Z. 4WD is possible but VERY hard to do, has been done before but...

Nice picture Alan, it must have been an experience and a half!!! Luck for me the Calsonic GTR was at the Tokyo Auto Salon also. -
Hi George, that is very interesting, because it is well known that Nissan only needed to sell 100 to make the car legal to race. At the end of 1992 the sales tally was 67 and they had difficulty finding homes for the remainder. Maybe check your friend's sources??? Cuong Nguyen

Nissan produced the wheels with "spartan air" -
rear view of Ozzy spec R32 GTR. Note that the Ozzy ones have an orange outer light, not a red one like the Japanese imports do. -
