ya i completely understand that...the car would in no way be a daily driver just something to drive on the weekend when its nice out...or ill just get a 240 or 280 and dump alot of money into it and make it one heck of a car...i just hope that im able to find something as now i have sold my Opel and would like to now find a Z...

i just basically would like to find an older car that is pretty neat that i would be able to fix up...i know there are the austin healey but im not really interested in those... definately would love a skyline but that is out of the question way to much money...

I was wondering if there were any right hand drive Z in the states? I would love to find a Z but a car that is right hand drive would just make it that much more fun. Or if you guys happen to know of another cool car that is right hand drive that is in the states please let me know.

y is everything for sale on the west coast...a Z is hard for me to find in Ohio...

ya i saw that one when it was on ebay a couple of weeks ago, i see that his reserve is 3K, that is a little more then i want to pay to start with...im looking more for a car that needs interior or drivetrain work...as long as the body is decent...

still looking, but i believe that i may have found a 78 280Z auto for around 800 bucks...so i may look into that one...

thank you that website definately looks like it is really going to help...the car has sat for the past 3 years but still runs the guy says...he just hasnt moved it cuz it doesnt have tags on it, so it will definately need the usual brakes and maybe some suspension parts...

Ok, I finally found a 1978 280Z that is actually close to me for a reasonable price. What is somethings that I should pay special attention too? This could be my first Z and I would love if it were.

only one thing needs to be asked...Why??? i understand it is the owners personal opinion with what they like for the car, but i cant see that anyone would like this car.

where can a rear end like that be bought at? i love the look of it

Looking for a Z around Ohio and PA area. If anyone knows of any please let me know. I would like one that has a 5 spd, electric ignition, and FI, so I guess that makes it a 75 or newer that I am looking for. But I will also consider any Z that is older then that too. Adam

does anyone happen to supply a whole wiring harness including fusebox for the Z? i know of the universal ones like the EZ Wiring one but didnt know if there was a harness made just for the Datsun.

I personally like your idea for the paint, and also like the reverse strip that you added to the pic. Everyone is going to have a different opinion, all that matters is that you like the way it turns out. Adam

If you kept pumping the brake pedal did it get even stiffer? If so I believe that would be because the engine was off, I'm sure that with the engine running it would not have been as stiff. You should have constant pressure the whole way.

I just wanted to take the time and introduce myself. My name is Adam, I am 21, and located in Akron, Ohio. I currently do not have a Z, but I am looking for one to purchase around the area. I would like to find one with a decent body, I am able to do engine and interior so that would not be a problem. I currently have a 73 Opel GT, and had 1 other GT and a Manta over the past 6 years. So if anyone has a good lead on a Z in my other or within 100 miles or so that would be awesome. And thanks in advance for letting me join what looks to be a great community. Adam
