I would like to know information about the cars set up I know it is equipped with an engine from a Supra, but I would like to know if anyone around here knows about or has seen this car and knows the specs. Oh yea heres a pic of my Z I forgot. Can anyone tell me what color this is. I was told the paint code plate was somewhere near the engine or hood hinges, but I dont see a paint code plate anywhere on my car or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Nice Z BTW Moritz it reminds me of the dark green that some people call "British racing green"[Please dont flame me for saying BRG I know the story I just dont remember the correct paint code for the color.] around here

Need help figuring out what color GREEn to paint my Z I just saw a thread with a fellow memeber here who just painted their Z 113 metallic green with green wheels and I really like that. My Z is a 260z and I'm not sure what color exactly she was originally I just know it was a green I believe it was emerald. Anyway I'm preping her for spring next year because I'm going to be driving her during that period as a gift to myself for my senior year. . [not in the rain of course] So, in the mean time I'm going to be doing some little things to her like a nice cheap paint job[FOR NOWI know Nice and cheap cannot be put together] and new brakes, suspension maybe a radio weather stripping and maybe a lil engine tuning. BTW: does any members here in the VA area know of someone who can properly tune my carbs they are in bad shape. Exactly, because it was at the PO loss in the first place he had to replace it himself or the insurence company; either way it was at his loss. I'm sure the insurence company doesnt refund labor charges for installing said engine, either way the PO would get some sort of compensation which is not a bad thing is it? NO. And if you still feel it doesnt matter if the person got the part back would you mind everyone just running around stealing radios and various parts from your and other cars never to get them back even if they were found? If it were located I'm sure you would want them back and probably sell it if you replaced it. Almost like getting into an car accident hurting a body part getting it taken care of through insurence, but not sueing, although I'm sure many would sue for more money if they were seriously hurt...no? Even if things were fixed; so it DOES matter.

Who said let them have it back? I just dont see the difference between selling a drug dealers car and a street racers car ..in both cases the cash would be used for a better good. Why not sell the cars and take out the stolen parts and return them?

First and formost,street racing is bad obviously, but has been going on for years..no?(even back in the muscle car days I'm sure it has you cant say it hasn't in some shape or form after high school) Now that its more popular than ever; hmm maybe because of the media partially. Everyone up here acts as though its a new thing. I've heard stories on THIS forum about how members have driven recklessly in there youth traveling around over 100mph on public roads ..no? (feel free to correct me because thats what we have the search button for) and have felt bad afterwards in the present. Fun in My Z: I have a question and don't shun me too badly because of my age. I understand the parts were stolen and the boys were undeniably wrong for their stupid actions, but put a Z in the hands of a male my or their age with a beefed up engine and what am I gonna want to do in it every once in a while? Show off on public streets. When the members talk about how they blow the doors off stupid ricers. where will this take place, hmmm maybe the streets is what you all are referring to. Is that not an example of irresponsible actions? Maybe your Z should be crushed.(two wrongs dont make a right) Should Corvettes, M3s, lambos, porsches and G35s be ripped from the streets and markets because of one stupid rich kid or adult acting immature and recking and or killing someone? from YOU all's stand point yes; has it happened NO. Why not? The law does not have the power to and neither should it in this instance it's just plan wrong. The cars could've at least been auctioned off like drug dealer's cars. There is plenty of this stuff on youtube some even including Z's yet some people on this forum find it fascinating, but when its a riced out civic oh then its just the wrongest action that could ever be performed in man kind.

Are the datsun LED Tail lights sold by a member here on the forums S.A.E/DOT approved? if so how did he register his lights through DOT?

Yes, I have and the customer service is very bad. The first time i called they said they would give me a refund if I return the item so I thinking to my self I have to pay to ship an item back to you that I cant use and that is illegal and then get only the cost I only get 35.65 back yea thats a complete rip off. I know I should have taken a lot better precausions when choosing to buy off ebay especially an item of this magnitude, but didnt think I'd get screwed over like this. So I called again the same day and the guy said i will get a full refund(all $107) and he will send me a shipping label. Now I dont buy this one bit until I get that shipping label. Believe me I'm no ricer I just wanted something to replace the dirty old headlights that are currently on my car so ill have a complete make over after the stock spoiler upgrade and new paint. No insane graphics, uneeded sticker or extra larger aluminum spoilers here just a few touch ups.

I have a quick question about some headlights that i recently purchased off of ebay. On the page it says that the headlights are S.A.E/DOT stamped but when i recieved them today i looked all over the headlights and found nothing. I know for a fact that it is usually stamped somewhere on the lens but they do not have ANY type of stamp anywhere. Which leaves me in a $108 hole. As you can imagine im very upset becuase it leaves the lights useless they wont pass inspection right? Anyone Know if the Alfa Romeo Spider veloce is a good car I like the way it looks even the 80s variation looks like it could pass for a 90s. There are a couple listed in my area around the $2000-$4000 range hmm. Maybe I will end up purchasing something in the small car: Miata, triumph, MG, Fiat, Alfa Romeo range. . Yea, the Z31 is definitly out of the picture as of now and so is the Corolla I'm selling it for whatever I can get from it. Mean time my dad sent me a pic text of this 2001(?) Toyota Celica im very interested in that it looks clean and is silver, but I can imagine the price tag. He's trying to talk me into making car payments to build credit, but I dont know about making payments on such a tight income just yet especially with my rising insurence .

well since the repairs for the rolla would be around $1100 my dad wants to get the car fully repainted (exterior) the parts are just $300 ( I need the door skin passenger fender Tire rod alumimnum wheel possibly and a couple other parts) and labors pretty cheap from who we looked at. So I guess the budget would be $1000 - $2000. keep in mind im just looking for a DD if i were to get the Z31 I wouldnt do any sort of mods or upgrades as far as performance goes.

Well, from my experience the corolla is a good car with great gas milage. I know of three other owners of a 94[212,000miles stock engine] 96[110,000 i believe] and a 97[not sure, but I know its over 120,000] as well as myself. My corolla is at 135,000 miles and still running strong not one thing was wrong with it until I got into an accident. It was a good car, but I dont know I guess the Idea of having a 2nd Z in the yard is all to intriguing to me.
