  • Under the Hood Numbers matching L24 that I tore down, and sent to two different machine shops before reassembling with mostly new parts. (Re-used the pistons, rods, crank, etc.)

I have a "Performance" cam, and over-sized L28 valves in the original E31 head. Z Therapy carbs, and repainted block.
  • Wheels & Tires The wheels are from an 81 280ZX Turbo model. 15x6 with 10mm offset. I ditched the Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads that I had on the car originally and replaced them with Yokomaha AVID ENVigor tires last spring. I love the new tires. They are smoother, and have way better grip than the Triple Treads ever did. (At least on dry or wet pavement. I doubt they would work as well in show, but the Z stays indoors in the winter.)
  • Suspension I replaced the strut cartridges and bump stops, but otherwise it is pretty much stock.
  • Transmission --
