RB25DE engine with Variable Valve Timing on Inlet cam & 5 speed manual transmission.

The dimension from engine x-member to g-box x-member is only 25mm(1") more than the equivalent distance on the body!

    Hey Graeme, have you got the engine in yet ?

    It should go really well, I have the Turbo version sitting in my 260z and it goes really well. Good Luck with the transplant.

    Hi Judd, unfortunately I am no where near installing the engine: still repairing the body on the rotisserie. It is either too bloody hot or I get sidetracked to one of my many other projects!

    Tell me, is my guesstimation that the engine and 5 speed fits into the Z body without too much drama?

    I've seen an RB20DET in a Z and it looked like it fitted perfectly:up:
