I am 56 years of age. Photo taken Nov 2005

Donni-Jay

I came from the UK and now live happily with my Chicagoan husband in the USA.

I am very happy to have found this site, as I adored my 1982 280ZX. I shall upload the photo of it's demise, (nearly mine at the time too!) as soon as possible.

Hello Chris nice to meet you. You've certainly got a load of good cars! I've just put a pic in of the 280zx I owned a few years ago. I'm about to post a pic of it after the 'accident.'

Maybe you'll be interested in seeing them?

Take care,

Donni-Jay

Hi Donni-Jay. I read your website and found a much deeper person than your couple of pictures let on. What an interesting life... I applaude you for being so strong and looking so good at your age ... and ADMITTING your age!! You are quite a unique woman. Take care and hope you're enjoying Chicago with Rocky!!

Hi Alfadog! Thank you very much for your lovely comments! As for admitting my age, it is a rebellious thing. Everyone has told me not to let on if I want to stay in showbiz. Especially here in the USA, but I don't believe in being hypocritical. I want other women not to be scared of being the mature age they may be. Experience and managing to survive life, must be some kind of achievement! Thanks for your good wishes for Rocky and myself. He is a wonderful man, and always by my side! He is also proud of me, so doesn't mind if I post the pics he takes of me. Isn't that just great? My last husband was an assassin (as you may know) Rocky came to the UK and saved me! Literally!

By the way, does your name stand for Alfa Romeo? I had a few of those and they were great cars! Hugs to you x

Yes it is. I've never had one but I was surrounded with them in my childhood. It is where my passion for cars came from!

Ah ha! My question is answered. I asked you again in my reply to your other post. I loved my ALfa's and as I grew up with three brothers, all crazy about cars I got to know a lot about them, the mechanics also. I love the old classic shapes and hate the assembly line style. They have this stupid aero-dynamic so-called shape, and why? It is illegal to go very fast anyway. When I came to the USA I was so excited about seeing all the great cadillacs and other American cars. Thank goodness there are still some around. I am looking for a Lincoln Continental. From 1998 to 2001 Or the Mark 8's from the early nineties.
