I need some new window winder handles for my zed, however not a single wrecker where I live has any zed parts.

So what are some other common cars that have similar looking window winders with the same shaft type?

If you look in my gallery, you'll see a shot of the door panel. The window cranks on my Z were purchased from a Hot-Rod shop, I believe it's called "Little Joe's Hot Rod Shop". The spline fit perfect. I replaced the door latch opener also. I think you can find these types of set ups at any modification shop.

Btw, I LOVE that colour on your zed! And that engine bay! You must have put some crazy hours into that!

Exterior Door handles are the same as a 120Y. Maybe the window winder handles are too.

I have a some 260z 2+2 parts from a parts car. I might sell the handles. PM me.

The ones that were on the car when I bought it are plastic items off something else. One of them broke recently, so I'm having to swap the winder from door to door every single time I get into or get out of the zed. It's way too hot up here to drive windows up at this time of the year, even at night.

If your after the interior winders im "pretty sure" the 1600 (510) use the same, as well as the external handles.

1600 and zed handles are the same part numbers, a mate use to sell his 1600 door handles to the zed wreckers around Melb for $10 and they turned around and sold them for $45 :stupid:

Did you check out some auto parts stores for a generic replacement? In the US the larger stores have some that look like they would fit and look almost identical, but I've never tried so not sure. Victor.

Try putting a wanted ad on www.ozdat.com for 1600 window winders to see if you can get something localy, to save on postage.
