hey all i was just wondering is a 74 260 grill would go into a 71 240 i have the grill in a parts car just to lasy to take it out if it isnt going to work .

I do know it makes a differance on whether the 260 is early or late. Early 260's had the turn signal indicators below in the valance like the 240's. Later 260's were half in and half out of the grill.

The grill for the early 260 and the 70-72 240 are totally different. The 260 has opening for the bumper shocks while the 240's do not. The grill may fit, but it will not be correct. I also believe that there is different mounting points for the two, but I am not sure. By the way, what color is your early 260z grill? Thanks.

its black i believe. but that stinks anyone know were i can get a 71 240 grill at? one a very tight budget
