HEY ANY TRICKS TO GETTING THE STRUT CANISTERS APART, MINE ARE BEING A B!#$%, PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINALS AHAH. I HAVE READ A COUPLE OTHER POSTS AND FOUND THAT THEY CAN BE A LITTLE DIFFICULT. I HEAR THERE IS A SPECIAL TOOL FOR JUST THIS. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED.

I use a 3lb sledge hammer to strike the pipe wrench. The shock usually is enough to break loose the nut from the threaded tube.

AHAHHAAH I GOT IT WITH THE PIPE WRENCH. I TRIED THE FIRST TIME BUT DIDN'T GET IT. GUESS I WASN'T DETERMINED ENOUGH.

NOTHING BETTER THEN BUSTIN A NUT. LOL
