Original Seat Material?

Featured Replies

Am in the process of getting some replacement seat covers and was wondering if I should replace the padding?

I think this is horse hair? I guess it is original?

Will this stuff fall off when covers are removed?

Yes, it just falls right out. I recently redid my seats with new foam and new covers. I didn't bother with the old horsehair material but I suppose if you're picky about originality you might leave it in.

not sure about the padding on my 240 it didn't but I recommend replacing the staps on the bottom , made a big diffrence in comfort with mine , good luck:geek:

Hey Nick what ones did you go for? the ones from classicdatsun.com?

I just realised the exchange rate makes it worthwhile buying things from the US again. :)

Yes the Classic Datsun , had some good reports on them $370 at todays exchange rates including postage.

But you have to pay duty then GST on the purchase price, postage and duty, still a lot cheaper than a trimmer!
