Anyway.. my subframe on the newer 81 ZX is all bent squashed from where people have had narrow jacks etc... its even rusted through on the left hand side firewall where the subframe angles down slightly also i noticed today (my fault ) i jacked up the rear left hand side too check the pads where i jacked it up on the rear suspension mount too the floor pan that pushed up with the weight of the car so how would i fix that ?

Or is this even worth fixing ?

What a body shop would do is, put a chain or something of that matter to the upward dented peice, then chain it to the floor using a well anchored eyelet, then lift the car at its strongest point, hense, using the floor as a dent puller, and the car as the slide.

But thats only if i'm reading what you read correctly.

And if the dent is accessible from the floorboard, use your foot.

I might just see if i can get it plated and mig welded...might be easier..
