Hi all. Just wondering how the little knob that controls fan speed is supposed to attach to the metal part that really controls it. I see a metal rod with a hole in it, my plastic blower knob with a hole in it, and the connection is certainly there in my mind. What binds the two together???

The blower knob has a screw in that little hole. Using a straight edge screwdriver you then cinch it down on the switch pole.

What size/kind of screw? I'll go buy one and put it on...gotta see if that motor works!!!
