I'm moving over to either Wollongong or Sydney in January, does anyone know or can direct me in the correct path for your car import laws? (for my '72 240z that is).

The RTA (Roads & Traffic Authority) is our governing body in NSW and their site can be found here. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/

Also might want to check the DOTARS (Department of Transport & Regional Services) here. http://www.dotars.gov.au/search.aspx

Those two sites should have all the info you need.
