quick question. what holds the kick panels on? im using the msa panels with the speakers. and, do they go in after the carpet?

sorry for all the questions, but my car was totally gutted inside so i am not familiar with the details.

The original 240Z panels use a large black plug. That's its only function. Also holding the panel on are all the screws use to attach the various relays, levers, etc that pass through the panel. The go on over the carpet.
