getting ready for the driving season. i started up the 240 today and it sputtered and stalled awhile. finally got it running smoothly but i noticed that the alt meter would jump to the positive whenever i stepped on the gas. it never did this before. any reason for this to happen?

Battery was probably low. Ammeter charging level will change depending on how fully charged the battery is and how much load is applied.

ok, yea i didn't have to jump the battery, must have been low sitting for 4 months. thanx.
