1973 SoCal 240 - Build Thread

Brief history:

Originally purchased by first owner in 5/73 at McCrea Datsun in Eureka CA. Second owner purchased it in 1977, and has been in Dublin, CA until I bought it 2 months ago. The original motor (L24159443 - anyone have it?) was replaced about 80k miles ago, along with the transmission. It was stripped to bare metal, and got a fresh coat of paint (metallic green #113) in 1997.

It fell off when I was changing the oil, and couldn't figure out how to get it back on. Oh well... LOL

Cleaned/polished filthy ashtray:
