Were there any Series I 240z cars with factory sunroofs or were they a dealer mod? Would a sunroof affect the value of an early production z-car?

There were no factory sunroofs offered as a option on the S30's.Yes,the sunroof would definitely affect the value of all S30's. They were a dealer installed option.

Take $1,250.00 or more off the price for a sunroof. Myself, I wouldn't buy a sunroof'd S30 unless it was for parts or as a race car.

I had a sunroof on my 72. It was nice for ventilation--but it did it ever leak. My body shop replaced it with a roof panel from a donor car. Check some of the older postings by Arne-- he will walk you through how to replace a sunroof. You will never know the hole was ever there.
