just got my 72 240 rolled into the shop never worked on an import. engine and tranny out in a heartbeat. engine on stand and disassembled waiting for pistons, rings ,bearings and head resurfacing, the bore was almost perfect. Couple of questions for you zed heads. the car came with no carbs or intake I found a 4 screw set with intake from a 70. got it for a bottle of captain morgans. will that intake fit on my block or is there some sort of water piping missing from the 70 intake and is it critical? the other thing missing was bumpers I'm hybriding the car a bit so fiberglass will do I have a tough time paying more for shipping than the actual parts. I'm located in Kamloops BC Canada anyone know of a canadian zparts place ? the hoods off a 78 may just keep it
