Posted August 30, 201212 yr comment_400139 My z has a run issue after it warms up. I can drive around for about five of so minutes. Park and let it idle, and this is what happens. I turned up the idle so that it would run long enough for me to video it. It normally dies when this happens. It will do this continuously even after I restart the car. I am guessing it is a fuel problem at the carb. Thoughts? August 30, 201212 yr comment_400196 Put a timing light on the plug wires. I think you are loosing spark. The light will stop strobing durring the stall if its electrical, but will continue to strobe if its a fuel issue. September 1, 201212 yr Author comment_400394 Just so that everyone knows, it was set too lean. When the engine was idling, the temp would rise and start doing that. I adjusted the mixture and the car runs great now. Thanks goes to Steve and them at ZTherapy for helping me with this.
