While the L28 is running fine, the spare L29 was yearning for some attention. Upon teardown, #1 cylinder had a bunch of scoring from detonation. :( :( :(

The PO warned me it had low compression.. Luckly enough the VO7 crank survived along with the head.  An L31 is in the works...

New 16' wheels (:

Body work in work. Going to start removing trim, bumpers, etc to keep sanding back.

The roof and doglegs are the worst areas.

But still enjoy driving on the weekends regardless of how the paint looks.

Are the wheels Konig? They look good from the side.

I have heard that 16X7 with 0 offset fits well without rolling the lip. Would depend on tyres of course.

Goodluck with sanding. That can be a pita.

Thanks Euro,

Yes, sanding process is exhausting, and worse, the more you look, the worse it gets!

Hoping to have the Koeing's painted black at some point.

Theres how it sounds going down the road.

Decided to take the car back to an N/A configuration. Borrowed the parts from my 260Z build. Nothing wrong with the L28ET, just thought I would take the car back to its roots so to speak (thanks Motorman7)!

Nice! I should of been working on one of my Z's instead of going to the Z bash.
