Me and my friends went to the barret jackson auction and gawked at all the cars. We were on our way out and I noticed the Shelby tent in the vendors area. Then I noticed a Datona Cobra Coupe and about crapped my pants. I knew it was a replica, but I didn't care. It was an exact replica of the original down to every detail. After lusting over it for a few, I hunted down the guy running the tent and begged him to let me sit in it. After brown nosing him a bit and explaining to him that it was the car of my dreams he finally agreed. I sat down it in and it fit me so perfect, like it was built for me. I could close my eyes and knew where every switch and button was on the dash. I almost broke down and cried I was so happy.

I saw one takin a few laps at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA, a couple of months ago. I assume it was a replica. VERY FAST!!!! Amazing that so much sound comes out of such a small car.

I am a FE guy and have one 427 and five 428's. The cobra's and datona coupes used the big block and small block. With the 427 they were unbeatable.
