I did buy a MSA performance muffler 2 1/2 inch with a 3 into 2 Header for my 71 240Z

there is no flow indication on it

there is one side with the Hole in the center and the other side the hole is not centered

It would fit better under the car with the center hole in the front and the offset hole in the back

but i am not sure witch way to install it.

Ok i did post this in a wrong section.

And i think i found the answer in another section

center in offset out.

The Dynomax mufflers are reversible. Mount it whichever way fits better in your car.

PS - moved thread to Exhaust.

Did you get them aerospace coated? I couldn't have been happier when mine arrived.

jeanp - great to know you just got them too! I just pick up the same set (MSA 3-2 header, MSA performance exhaust) and can't wait to put them on. Let us know how the install went (now that you know which way to put the muffler on!)
