i hacked a 260 up

Featured Replies

I never even dreamt of cutting a z car into peices but thats what i did today four seperate peices that when put together equal a z car this has to be the saddest day of my life.

I've cut up plenty of Z cars. Once they have rotted beyond repair, they are more useful as parts cars to keep other Z cars on the road.

This is truly a very sad thing. :( I'm cutting into my 260z, but only for the sake of repairing the rust patches. :PLOL, but yeah, I hate hacking up the rarer cars, like 260s and 240z....

I hated hacking the entire rear off my early 74 260Z a few years ago for rust. I found a suitable parts car for both rear quarters but I had to use an new 280Z floor pan for the area under the rear bumper.

I had to scrap it I had pulled everything out and there was no fixing it, it had no frame rals and if i would have jumped on it too hard I would have broke it in half.

i dont have a camera for pics sorry sblake but it was sad man.

Do you have the safety belt recesses and mounts on the vertical section behind the seats?

Steve

That's what I was thinking. I need the signal switch and covers on the column. Want to sell them? PM me.
