So I bought myself a new set of SU carbs, a kickarse filter that's a box as well, 2 ram tubes (2.5") and a breather. I can't believe the filter I've bought. If it does half of what I expect it to I will be very happy.

WOW, very nice. Are those SU's chromed? Also, the "tube" from the bottom of the float bowls to the red cap at the fuel nozzle appears to be metal. Is it? If so, how does that allow for the nozzles to move downward when the choke lever is operated? In the US that tube is a ugly black silicone rubber hose. I like the look of your set-up much better!

What type of SU's are those? They don't look like the typical ones found on a Z. I like the look of yours much better, but what are they from?

They look like polished Jag SU's to me! Very nice!!! But we'll have to wait and see what That Ozzy Guy says. When you do reply can you include what size they are (Ex. 1 3/4" or 2")? Just curious!!!

Thanks mate. Orthadox is a form of the Catholic religion. We follow the 'old' calander in which X'mas and New years are a fortnight later.

Yes they are chromed and look too good to put in the old engine bay:ermm:

The tube you speak of is actually a spring & it moves freely.

kmack, they are original SU's built by Midel from parts acquired by them. I don't know all that much about them but that is what they told me.
