I just converted my '73 flattop carbs to 70-71 SUs. But there is a hose barb coming off the top of the float bowl that I can figure out where it goes. Each carb has one.

This is for the carbs to breath, it hooks up to your airfilter. If you dont have the stock air box, get one. Hook two 5/16" hoses to each and then to the middle of the air box.
