I have been going through my boxes of parts in preparation for dash reassembly and have come across a couple of map light frames. I am referring to the black outer frame. One has a small lip across the top of the frame above the clear lens and the other one doesn't. Did the first years have plane frames? Thanks.

The flat one is correct for a 1970. They added the hood on series two cars I think. On the early cars like yours it would have been made of grey plastic too (to match the radio face plate, and heater control panel).

Thanks a lot! All I need to do now is figure out how to straighten it out. Its a little warped from age.
