Question for anyone who has installed Corbeau TRS or CR1 seats in their Z, did they bolt right in with the Corbeau mounts? I have read that lots of people have modified the mounting brackets to deal with headroom issues. How much do the Corbeau brackets raise the seating position? I am 6' tall and there seems to be lots of room with the stock seats.

Also did anyone have issues with the seat hitting the door panel?

would be interested in the end result. I really wanted those seats years ago but gave up when I found out about the lift they added.

It is interesting to see that some people have trouble and some don't judging by these responses and others I have read. Seems like the later Z's have trouble with the hump on the tunnel but still most fab up their own mounts.

Lower the seat mounts. I did it in my 914. Cut and weld.
