I found this vintage Datsun poster by Salvador Dali and while it's not a 240Z, it's kind of a neat poster. Rare..not so rare, what's the story on this piece of Datsun history?

I think it pretty cool myself. First time I've seen it.

My guess is it was part of the same ad campaign as this Peter Max art for the Datsun 1200. I believe someone was trying to sell the original on ebay a few times a couple of months ago for several thousand dollars.

edit: just found the Dali ad on ebay too.

I think these were a series of four different artists. They might have been mentioned in an old Datsun newletter I have. I'll have to check to see if I can find it. Here is #3 (not to be confused with HLS30-00003 )

By original, is that the the original artwork that the posters are generated from or is that an original poster? (for that kind of money, I'd think it was for the actual artwork?)
