Hi everyone, I am a proper datsun petrolhead,

I have just acquired a 1977 160 Z Coupe in a poor state,

As you guys know there were only a few made.

In most of the countries it is the same as the B210 sunny coupe.

Only difference is a few stickers, suspension mods,

sss 1600 enjin with twin carburettors.

And only a few were made.

We also used to get them in a 140 Z which was more popular.

Twin sidies, fancy airfilter box with a Z on it, personal wheels.

Both uses the L range enjins, 83 mm bore.

Very interesting site, lots of car lovers out there.

For your records, if you ever need help in the carburetor area we can assist you. Just a self serving plug....

If they are flat tops, they are flat top 38mm Hitachis, which are no problem, as opposed to the Z flat tops.

I know I should have followed that statement with a smiley:)
