If i remember right i removed it from the engine day of a 81 Turbo zx; it was located near the distributor.

That's a flux capacitor right there folks. Not many left.

Sorry couldn't resist. I have no idea what it is but maybe a device for equalising vacuum pressure.

It doesn't look like any factory part I've ever seen. It could be an aftermarket vacuum distribution block to connect a bunch of small hoses together.

I'm pretty sure that's not a factory part. I've owned my '83 ZXT since 1990 and never seen anything like it under the hood.
