I don't know the car but some of those pictures look like they belong in a brochure.

I noticed it does have a half cap on the dash. It might be worth making the trip to get a better look if you are interested in it. Unless someone steps up and vouches for the condition of this car I would be leary of bidding it up too high. The pictures do show well, but a good going over in person is better than any picture.

Well, the seller stated that the car is / was for sale locally, and reserved the right to end the auction at anytime - which he did. Three days before closing, reserve not met at $9800 on 26 bids. Maybe it did sell locally?

He has three other z's for sale !!!!! And some other interesting cars !!!! I am a distance away other wise I would check the black pearl out and the 280z and 10th anniversary 280zx out !!!! Always liked the Black Pearl edition !!!!!

I am thinking the guy is a dealer and is using the same backdrop for every car, either that or he has a very odd collection of vehicles.

For less money, I think I would rather have this car, not a Pearl but looks much nicer IMO. Although what do I know, I was scorched buying my Z on Ebay sight unseen
