Its cool. i cant just afford to be out that much cash for a week beandip no hard feelings.

I took a piece of bar stock smaller than the pin and drilled the end to fit over the threads and deep enough to touch the shoulder behind them. I soaked the area with penetrating oil a few hours before and was able to drive the spindle pin out and not damage the threads. Make sure you remove the tapered lock pin first. If you leave the nut on just past the thread end you can give it a sharp rap and it will pop loose without mushrooming the threads.

to late i went ape sh*t on it in a rage guessw what still not out LOL. Machine shop i hope they can get it.

Been there, done that. Fortunately I only went ape on one side and was still able to use beandip's puller on the other. It was silly how easy this was with the right tool. Man I love tools, and I don't mean the BFH although that can be fun too. :) Good luck with the machine shop.

You can heat the strut porton to help break the bond caused by corrosion. Cast iron expands more than the steel pin. Let it cool a little and add penetrating oil.

i heated the hell out of the center. I also burned the bushings no luck. Hope the shop can help me out.

Can a 5/8ths bolt be used to alleviate the spindle pin. i know its like .010 smaller or something but what are your thoughts.

Not unless you want rear wheel steering without control!

Be patient, get the right tools, do it right. It's easier if you have the strut and A arm on the bench.
