October 17, 200222 yr comment_17201 Mark,The only comforable way to remove the stock mirror is after removing the glass. You'll find a 13 mm nut holding the mirror in place. October 18, 200222 yr comment_17217 Hey Mark,Keep looking it is in there! As previously mentioned it is hard to get to. The only original 240 mirror I have removed was on a door that was off the car and I removed all the door internals first. With some creativity and if you take your time you could probably get it out without removing everything.Have fun! October 18, 200222 yr comment_17228 As 240Z indicates, or his Link, I should say; It is fairly easy to remove the mirror. The key is to have the window in the rolled up position, with the moisture barrier plastic pealed back or removed, and the door open so that you can reach up through the hole in the inner door panel with a socket attached to an extension. Like most things, Once you've done it, you'll realize how simple it is.Good Luck with your project!Carl Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3269-side-mirror/#findComment-17228 Share on other sites
