Anyone wish to share any successfull experience with the vinyl interior kit sold by Blackdragon : Strut tower covers that don't fit properly ? A-pillar with 1/4 foam too thick ?

Can't tell you about the BD kit.

I was very disappointed in the MSA kit and ended-up re-making most of it. It was a waste of money.

I would say that the BD kit is equal to the MSA kit and of very poor fitting quality for someone wishing to do a near original restoration. Any idea where i can buy (online preferably) the diamond pattern vinyl by the foot/yard ?

Any advices before i follow the same track you did ?

Comes in sheets that are about 15" x 40".

I did take several phone calls and some convincing to get them to sell the raw stock to me...

In terms of hints: I had a shop install the rear shock tower covers, I found them difficult to get looking good enough. The rest of the pieces go n pretty easy.

Not a vinyl story - but I ordered a rebuilt ECU from them. First one was bad - car wouldn't start at all.

But they did ship me a replacement that has worked ok for 3 days so far.

I think i have found a good online source for the diamond patter vinyl. My Z being two hour away from where i live can anyone give me the exact measurement of one diamond (wide and tall) ?

2 1/2" x 1 1/2" That is the exact size of 1 individual diamond. They are seperated by a 1/16" border.
