Just looking at my oil pump to see about taking it out to get to the timing chain. Looks like it may hit the sway bar and not have enough room to come out. Anybody have experience with this?

Yeah, but you can drop the sway bar at the front two brackets very easily. Or raise the motor a bit. Either way works.

Mine came out no problem with lots of clearance on my '72 when I upgraded to a turbo oil pump. Just remember to clamp the shaft in place at the top end by removing the distributor before taking the oil pump off.
